Did you see my post last week on choosing the perfect Boho wedding dress? For a fresh, new take on the Boho bride look, have you considered any Festival Bride Wedding Dresses? With lots of sexy lace, sheer backs, and long flowing skirts, these dresses are gorgeous for outdoor weddings but still bring a modern touch to your bridal look.
Here I’ve chosen my 10 favourite festival bride wedding dresses from across the web.
First up in our choice of festival bride wedding dresses is this awesome two piece wedding dress from Karen Willis Holmes via Green Wedding Shoes. I love the classical elegance, and how the majority of the dress is quite demure, with just a flash of midriff. The scalloped edge that brushes your beautifully tanned, toned abs (right??) is so pretty and feminine. Luckily, the cut of this dress will accentuate the narrowest part of your waist so even if you’re nervous about trying a two piece dress, this one might just surprise you.
I luuuurve this next dress by Faith Caton-Barber , beautifully photographed by Miss Gen Photography via Love My Dress. The embellished tulle overlay is just exquisite and beautifully paired with wildflowers for a gorgeous outdoor, festival wedding.
This super lacy, sheer and sexy Anna Campbell dress from her Forever Entwined Collection via Belle The Magazine would be amazing paired with soft, loose curls adorned with a halo.
How incredibly feminine is this beautiful lace dress from Immaclé, a Spanish designer who has created some amazing festival bride wedding dresses? It’s such a classic shape with the delicate cap sleeves, and I adore the nude slip underneath.
Rue de Seine, a New Zealand designer, has some beautifully original wedding dresses, like this Dahlia Gown, perfect for a festival bride. The creamy tones are very earthy-chic and really show off the beautiful ivory embroidery.
The Florence Gown from Rue de Seine is a great choice for brides looking at festival bride wedding dresses. The slight up the front is just the right length to be intriguing without going over the top. It is your wedding day after all 🙂
The Rue de Seine (can you tell I have a brand crush?) Violet Gown is a lovely spin on the festival bride look. A traditional wedding dress shape, but the style of the lace is modern and botanical, making it perfect for a summery outdoor wedding.
This next dress by Rue De Seine shot by Brett Heidebrecht via Once Wed is another lovely take on that taupe colour highlighting exquisite embroidery. The back on this dress is super sexy.
No round-up of festival bride wedding dresses would be complete without a selection from Claire Pettibone, and this number shot by onelove photography via Project Wedding fits the bill beautifully. The pale mint green shade is a lovely modern twist on the traditional ivory, and the lace accents across the back and down the sides of the dress are so bohemian.
Last but not least, every Festival Bride Wedding Dress needs a beautiful back. This gorgeous example by Poise by Nadia, is the perfect combination of lace and beautiful bare skin.
And finally, this image, via Etsy is just too cute to leave out. OF COURSE your flower girl needs her own Festival Bride Flower Girl Dress. And oversized twig leaf crown. And gold gladiator sandals.
