You know how the French just somehow seem to be born with style? The women there just ooze chic-ness. I’ve tried reading Paris Street Style, Lessons From Madame Chic and, more recently, French Children Don’t Throw Food (don’t worry, I have no commission links to Amazon!). While you can read an instruction and copy it, there is just no way to avoid the fact that I was not, unfortunately, born French, and therefor do not have that truly innate French style. So what’s a girl to do? Well, turn to the gift Parisian designers for help. Laure de Sagazan has designed some truly exquisite and incredibly chic french wedding dresses.
Even the photo-shoot, with it’s moody colour tones and sexy flashes of skin and sultry eyes is just so….. je ne sais quoi ….
It’s well worth heading over to her site to check out her entire 2017 collection of chic french wedding dresses, but if you’re looking for the highlights, I’ve selected my favourites here.

oh the tiny floral pattern in this lacy top…
This looks like it’s straight out of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tender is the Night. So sexy, classy, and just so French…
I love the spacing of the lace back on this dress. Typically these will be designed for the lace to form a V at the back, so this is really unusual and quirky.
Love the demure design of this dress, with its beautiful lace cap sleeves, slight drop waist and wider waistband. The fabrics gently pleated at the front for a little bit of detail, and in the following photo you can see that beautiful lace back.
So I can’t make you French. But I can advise you check out Laure de Sagazan’s 2017 collection for some incredibly chic french wedding dresses.
Who knows, you may even find your children stop throwing food at the dinner table. Here’s hoping.
