As a product based business in the wedding industry, rather than on-the-day service, I never get to see my brides wearing their beautiful wedding accessories on their big day. So it makes me so happy when my lovely brides send me photos! These are from my gorgeous bride Iullia who chose a bridal tiara in a vintage silk style. Her bridal tiara features heaps of sparkly rhinestones and delicate pearls all set over raw dupioni silk.
Designing a bespoke bridal tiara
Iullia reached out to me earlier in the year as she had fallen in love with the vintage silk side tiara on my website. However she wanted a few changes made. I’m always very happy to tweak existing designs to help brides find the perfect match to their wedding dress! Therefore we incorporated extra sprays of freshwater pearls along the centre of her side tiara to pick up on all the beautiful beaded detail in her dress.
The perfect bridal tiara for a Jenny Packham dress
Iullia’s finished bridal tiara was such an exquisite match for her Jenny Packham dress. I have long been a huge fan of Jenny Packham‘s designs. The elegant, fluid shapes of her dresses and heavy beading evoke the jazz age period of the 1920s and 1930s – one of my favourite style eras! I just love the cinched in waist detail on Iullia’s dress and the sheer top of the dress. Both create such an elegant, feminine shape while being so classy.
