A Silk Wedding Veil for a Stylish Art Deco Bride

Becca came to The Boutique in early Spring looking for a beautiful headpiece and silk wedding veil to complement her Art Deco style drop-waist wedding dress. Becca’s elegant and understated style beautifully suited the Art Deco style from the 1930’s, and after some deliberation she chose the Rhinestone and Pearl Tiara No.7 from the Celebration Collection.

Becca was also looking for a wedding veil, and after trying the Georgia silk wedding veil she really couldn’t get it out of her mind. Particularly for brides picking up on styles from the 1920s to the 1940s, a pure soft silk wedding veil really has no comparison. Of course it is more costly than an illusion tulle veil, but it will become a treasured heirloom to pass down from generation to generation.

It’s always so lovely to see photos from our brides who visit The Boutique  – our little slice of bridal heaven in Fulham, West London. Becca chose her silk wedding veil and bridal headpiece at The Boutique. However Becca also had her hair and makeup done by the other half of The Boutique’s power team – Tori Harris from Tori Harris Makeup.

Becca sent us the kindest thank you note which really makes our day both at Victoria Millésime and at The Boutique. We aim to go above and beyond in customer service and it’s so lovely to hear from our brides who had such an enjoyable experience here.

I am finally emailing to say THANK YOU to both of you for your help with my wedding on 1 July. I am a little late in sending this – but I only returned from honeymoon a few days ago and there was pretty much zero wifi when I was away.

Tori – the make-up was fantastic! I was amazed by the length of time it stayed in place.

All I did was nervously top up my lipstick here and there – other than that it really didn’t need too much of a touch up.

Your skill, efficiency and calm manner really helped get the day off to a great start for me. I really appreciated it and would definitely recommend you to anyone I know getting married.

Victoria – thank you for your advice and help with the headpiece and the veil. I’m glad I indulged in the veil – and I think I picked the right headpiece for the outfit. I really loved it and I am trying to think when on earth I might be able to wear it again. 🙂

There’s one side view picture attached that shows of the headpiece a little.

Thanks again and have a great weekend.
