Finding The Perfect Lace Wedding Headpiece

Bride Emma came to The Boutique in late Spring and knew exactly what she wanted. She would be wearing a tea length lace dress with a full skirt and long sleeves, and she really wanted a lace wedding headpiece and birdcage veil to match it.

After trying on quite a few different options, Emma set her heart on a beautiful lace wedding headpiece that is an exclusive design to The Boutique. This headpiece is set with a base of gorgeous vintage silk millinery leaves in the palest pink. The ivory beaded lace over the top has dozens of tiny ivory seed beads delicately hand sewn into place.

Finally, it is finished off with delicate ribbon roses in pale pink for the perfect finishing touch.

Adding a Birdcage Veil

Emma also loved the look of the simple birdcage veil, which is perfectly suited to a tea length wedding dress and her lace wedding headpiece.

I absolutely adore the lace back and sleeves on Emma’s dress. I’m also a total sucker for buttons down the back of a wedding dress. I just think they’re the most elegant finishing touch on a wedding dress. I also love a long sleeved dress – these are becoming more and more popular, particularly after a certain princess chose to get married in one!

Emma’s plaited up do is wedding hair perfection! Absolutely gorgeous, and her lace wedding headpiece really pops against her dark locks and super covetable fringe (as a slightly curly haired lady I always envy others with nice thick straight fringes!).

I just love this last photo of Emma and her groom enjoying a moment away. The green of her groom’s tweed suit is the perfect relaxed complement to Emma’s dress.
