5th December Jewellery Workshop

For the second year running Victoria will be leading her Christmas Jewellery Workshop. This has been a hugely popular workshop in the past, as attendees love learning how to make their own jewellery at home and were thrilled to take home several pieces of finished jewellery that were perfect for Christmas presents.

This is also a great chance for brides to make a piece of jewellery to wear to your own wedding, or for bridesmaids to make their jewellery.

The workshop will run on Tuesday 5th December from 7.30-9.30pm at The Boutique, 273 Wandsworth Bridge Road, SW6 2TX.

Course Contents

This course aims to show you how to make your own jewellery at home using only simple tools (jewellery pliers) and supplies (wire, beads, pearls, crystals) which can be purchased anywhere. After the course you’ll have enough skills to be able to continue making jewellery at home.

To summarise, we’ll be covering the following in the class:

1. Introduction to jewellery making

2. Basic tools and materials

3. Core techniques (design, loop making, threading, attaching findings)

4. Wire twisting

We will then move on to actually making some jewellery. I will provide all the materials necessary for you to make at least 2 pairs of earrings with your choice of pearls/beads/crystals. We will then also make a necklace which will use the wire twisting technique.
